One of the hottest issues being discussed in our nation and community today is immigration. We hear and see the news on just about every station available. The talk is all about the impact of “ILLEGAL OR UNDOCUMENTED INDIVIDUALS” in our country. Indeed, it is near impossible to go a day without the issue coming up. There is talk of walls, felonies, amnesty, and work Americans won’t perform. Yes, this is a real issue we can sink our teeth into. But how much do you really know about the problem? You can listen to the pundits talk about the “ILLEGALS” all over the country. But what do you know about the issue as it impacts Clark County?

Do any of these individuals live and work here in Clark County? Our unemployment rate is above 6% at this time. Do we have work Americans won’t perform? Who are the illegal’s in our community? What color are they? From where did the come? Do you know any one classified as “ILLEGAL”? Can we really do anything to resolve the issue?
