A Speakers Training session (against) I-933 is set for August 12 in Vancouver. Similar training sessions will take place at the same time all over the state.

Where: Fort Vancouver Community Library, 1007 E. Mill Plain Blvd, Vanc

Help us start spreading the word on this initiative. Because we're up against such a
tough and heavily financed opponent, we need to start working now to build
our community of "No on 933" activists.

At this time, individuals will be trained to speak out against I-933 whether it be in telling their friends, presenting at meetings, or petitioning. Training will last until
12:30pm, at which time we'll break for lunch, and then head out to do another
wave of yard signing and knocking on doors to practice our new message.

This Washington state measure is similar in spirit to the Oregon State "Measure 37" which basicly exempts property owners from complying with land use rules that protect all Washington residents. For details please see:
