In a frank and well-worded editorial on Friday Nov 04, 2016, The Columbian, our very important locally-owned newspaper, supported Obamacare (the Affordable Care Act) as being useful, necessary and a very good first step. In Washington especially, where it was embraced and not fought, the rate hikes remain significantly smaller. As supporters like Hillary have long said, it's a first step on which to build.
