Although the College has promoted Earth Day in the past, this year no one was taking charge of the preparations and as late a month ago it looked like Clark might not have any major Earth Day Events this year.</p> <p>Instead, Angel, an Army Reservist and a student at Clark College, with the help of several other members of the CCYD's, spearheaded the recruitment of groups to set up informational tables regarding a variety of environmental and social causes. In addition, they organized brown-bag forums during the lunch hours and even set up a display of hybrid-cars in the Clark College parking lot on Friday, April 22.</p> Fri, 22 Apr 2005 20:39:47 -0400
